Yes, the expiration can be set on the Payment dialogue
by filling in the validity dates.  What is really needed
is some more convenient choices.

Also, I thought I had already changed the expirey some
time ago to 5 days default, but I'd have to check the
source to be sure, and do not have it at the moment.
