Subject: I.F. Recruitment

***********************
From the Co-Director...
***********************

Dear members of Intelligence Forum:

In a couple of months or so the Co-Directors of Intelligence Forum will approach our sponsor, the journal Intelligence and National Security published by Frank Cass of London, for additional funding to cover another 12 months of operation.  We believe that an important factor in re-securing sponsorship will be demonstrating a high-level of interest in I.F., of which an important indicator will be membership numbers (we currently have approximately 160 members).

Therefore, we are requesting that all members of Intelligence Forum circulate the I.F. announcement attached below to individuals who may be interested in joining our group.

Please note that we are not trying to artificially boost our numbers for the sake of numbers alone.  We want to recruit a cadre of new members that can help sustain a high-quality dialogue on intelligence topics.  Still, Intelligence Forum can and should reach scholars and students of intelligence world-wide, and we request your assistance to that end.

Thank you for your assistance.

Sincerely,

Mike Dravis <oso@his.com>
Co-Director, Intelligence Forum
