NARS : demonstration

NARS is a Java applet demonstrating some of the implemented NARS functionalities. You can either directly run it over the Internet, or download a zip file (91K, containing all the NARS demo files), then run NARS.html in the file in your local disk with a browser or appletviewer.

To see how NARS works, it is strongly recommended to start with the user's guide. Two example files are available, with one shows single inference steps, and the other multi-step inference processes. After trying them, you can modify them, as well as your make your own examples.

The source code of this program is not available for the public at the current time.

NAL 1.0                                                                         (last changed: August 24, 2004)

NAL is a Prolog program that implements all the inference rules in NAL 1-6, without memory structure and control mechanism for multiple-step inference. The source code comes with a user's guide and examples. The examples are tested with SWI-Prolog.

NAL truth-value functions                                                (last changed: August 16, 2006)

All the NAL truth-value functions are collected in a spreadsheet file NAL-TruthFunctions.xls

The file contains three tables: the first shows the relations among uncertainty measurements, the second shows the truth-value functions of the two-premise rules, and the third shows the truth-value functions of the one-premise rules. In each table, you can modify the input values (in green) and see how the outputs (in blue) of the functions changes. The system parameter (in purple) can also be adjusted.
